​Am I Eligible for​ Benefits?​​

Everyone is eligible! Employees in an approved position of 48 hours or more per pay period are eligible for all benefits. Employees in a position of fewer than 48 hours, such as PRN, are eligible for the wellness reimbursement plan, retirement plan, and all Be Well resources (located in the Health & Wellness tab)

I'm Brand New to Bronson
New employees eligible for benefits have 30 days to select benefits in their Workday inbox. Any benefit coverage selected will be dated back to your first day of employment. New employees hired between

​I'm Changing My Job at Bronson
Check your Workday inbox! Employees who transfer to a position that is non-benefit eligible, such as PRN, may be eligible for ACA medical benefits. Benefit coverage prior to a job transfer will end on the last day in the benefit-eligible role. Enroll within 30 days of your job change.

Employees switching to a position that is benefit-eligible will receive communication in their Workday inbox and be able to enroll in benefits effective the job transfer date. Enroll within 30 days of your job change.


How Do I Enroll in Benefits?

Start with your Workday inbox - click the upper right envelope icon. Follow the prompts on the screen. You enroll in many, but not all, benefits through Workday.
  • Retirement plan enrollment and changes? Complete by contacting Fidelity directly.
  • Pet Insurance: Contact Nationwide to enroll or un-enroll at any time of year.​
  • First time enrolling in Wellness Program? Create an account with Navia (click the Health and Wellness tab for details) Claims can be submitted through a mobile app or by mailing a paper claim form.​

Can I Change Benefits?

New hires and newly eligible employees have 30 days from their start date or job change date to update benefits. Otherwise, any and all changes to benefits can be made during the annual Open Enrollment in November.

If you experience a qualifying life event, you have 30 days from the 'event' to update your Bronson benefits outside of Open Enrollment. Examples of qualifying events include birth/adoption, marriage, divorce, loss of other coverage, or gain of other coverage.​ Click 'Change Benefits' after logging into Workday.


​Whom Can I Cover On My Benefits?

Employees may enroll any legal spouse, and/or dependent child(ren) under the age of 26.
​For purposes of Bronson's plan, a "child" means:
1. Natural-born children
2. Stepchildren
3. Legally adopted children
4. Children who have been placed with you for adoption, whether or not the adoption is final
5. Children you have been ordered by a court to provide coverage
6. Coverage for a child as a result of Qualified Medical Child Support Order (QMCSO)

Children for whom you have a court-appointed legal guardianship are also eligible for the plan until the end of the month of their 26th birthday provided the child(ren) are dependent on you for more than half of his or her financial support and are eligible to be claimed as a tax dependent on your most recent federal tax returns.

Coverage will terminate for your child at the end of the month of their 26th birthday unless he or she is incapable of self-support because of a physical or mental disability that began prior to age 26. You must apply for this continuation by the child’s 26th birthday by contacting Human Resources.

After enrolling or changing benefits in Workday, you will be required to provide dependent documentation.
  • If you enroll a spouse: provide a marriage certificate
  • ​If you enroll a child/children: provide an official birth certificate^
^We cannot accept hospital announcements or hospital slips.​
