Bronson strives to provide support to all facets of your and your family's well-being, including physical, mental, and social wellbeing. If you prefer reimbursement for a gym membership, a coach to help you reach your goals, or resources for a big move, Bronson is here to help.​

Lifestyle Spending Account - formerly Wellness Reimbursement

Managed by Navia, the lifestyle spending account (formerly wellness reimbursement) is available to all Bronson employees.^ Services that Navia will reimburse are listed on the Documents tab.

^On-call or PRN Providers working for Bronson are not eligible for wellness reimbursement per their contract.

Navia will reimburse pre-determined eligible services, listed on the Documents tab. Please check this list before making a purchase - Navia cannot guarantee a service will be reimbursed if it's not on the list. Eligible services are reviewed each calendar year and updated by a committee. ​


Reimbursement Limit May Vary

All employees are eligible for lifestyle spending reimbursement. Your enrollment in a Bronson medical plan determines the amount you are eligible for.
  • ​If you are not enrolled in a Bronson medical plan, you are eligible for up to $250 wellness reimbursement per calendar year.
  • If you are enrolled in a Bronson medical plan, you are eligible for up to $500 reimbursement per calendar year.
    • ​If your spouse is enrolled in your Bronson medical plan, your spouse is eligible for up to $500 reimbursement per calendar year
    • If your child or children is/are enrolled in your Bronson medical plan, the child (or collective children) are eligible for up to $500 reimbursement per calendar year.​
Eligible services are reimbursed at 90% unless noted otherwise. Unused benefits dollars do not roll over to the next year.

How To Submit for Reimbursement

After paying for the eligible service, submit a claim to Navia in several ways:
  • Submit a paper claim form by email OR
  • Submit a claim using the online portal & attach your receipt OR
  • Submit a claim on the Navia mobile app & take a photo of your receipt

Please note that most reimbursements will be considered taxable income per the IRS and appear as "Taxable Fringe Benefit" on your payslip in Workday.


Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

Everyone experiences stressful situations in life. It could be something personal, like the death of a loved one, marriage problems or financial concerns. They can also be more professional in nature, like issues with a coworker or difficulty creating a healthy work-life balance. Bronson HelpNet offers a wealth of resources to handle these stressors, at no cost to employees.

HelpNet Resource & Referral Service

To help you make time for what matters most, you and your family have access to the Employee Resource Service available any time, any day by phone or online via live chat. The service offers live assistance from a work-life specialist to provide support for any work, personal, or everyday activity that is important to you and your family. For example, if you need assistance sourcing information on daily living activities such as consumer comparisons, event planning, moving/relocation services, home repairs, volunteer opportunities, pet sitters/kennels, summer camps, travel, transportation, the list is endless; HelpNet's Resource & Referral Service is a great place to start. The work-life specialists also source child and elder care for those who need support in finding the right place with the right services to care for loved ones. ​

The Resource & Referral Service is easy to access:

  • Call HelpNet at 800-969-6162 and ask to use the Resource & Referral Service, or
  • Log in here and enter 'bronson' as the user name
    • ​Click the Live Connect button to instant message a work-life specialist

Accessed either way, the work-life specialist will assess your request, ask additional questions, discuss considerations you may not have thought of, and will then get to work gathering information and resources for you to consider. Once the search is complete, an email is delivered to you containing all of the information related to your request – it's that easy! Check it out, put in a request to see how it works and how it saves you time from internet surfing when you need information on daily activities.​


Fitness at Bronson
Visit the ​Bronson Athletic Club (BAC) in Kalamazoo* (8) or more times per month and receive $50 reimbursement on the next following paycheck.

Visit the Bronson Wellness Center (BWC) in South Haven* (8) or more times per month and receive $28 reimbursement on the next following paycheck.

*Only attendance at your home location will count toward the 8-visit requirement.

Maximize Your Benefits​

In addition to this fitness credit for visiting Bronson facilities, you may be reimbursed initiation and/or membership costs through the lifestyle spending account. These benefit plans are independent of one another and you may qualify for one or both.​


Senior Services [Calhoun County Residents]

Free services are available to Employees over the age of 60, those caring for someone over the age of 60, or actively working retirees, residing in Calhoun County. Senior Services help with benefits counseling, Medicare enrollment, money management, assistance with transportation, housing, meals, well-being, legal matters, and more.​
